Drunk Spaghetti & Honey Balsamic braised carrots on the side .
Very okayish tasting . But here’s the recipe .
->Cook #spaghetti al dente ( I used a garlic rosemary flavoured handmade spaghetti I’d picked up at #pikeplace ) -> sauté garlic in olive oil , add chilli flakes + rosemary -> pour half a cup of cooking wine ( nothing fancy , just mildly sweet one from whole foods / wegman type grocery)
-> add cooked pasta and cook till wine reduces completely . And serve hot .
I probably should use more + better wine , swap flavored pasta with regular spaghetti next time - there wasn’t anything exciting about this dish’s flavour. Just edible avg.
So just to make the meal better , quickly braised some carrots & onions in a honey #balsamic and red wine reduction - this was win !
350F , 20-30 mins .
